Training

All staff receive paid training to excel in their role as snow sports instructors. This on the job training will include, but is not limited to on snow training, shadowing, virtual training, resort training and more.

Certification reimbursement is a core value of Okemo and Vail resorts. Any relevant certification from PSIA-AASI will be reimbursed after successful completion of the exam. And, a pay raise for for relevant certifications occurs within the same season.

Okemo offers exceptional, elective training (unpaid) nearly ever day for snow sports instructors to take charge of their professional development and continue learning or pursue higher certification. This continuing education and elective training calendar rivaled by none in the region.
